Our Bletchley care home's fantastic facilities - inside and out
Caton House is located in a peaceful part of Bletchley, surrounded by retirement bungalows and with two enclosed gardens that provide lovely spots in which to relax and enjoy the fresh air.
Our main courtyard-style garden features a large patio area, with plenty of seating, potted plants and bright hanging baskets. The second is situated in the atrium, at the heart of the care home. Smaller in size, it’s filled with sensory plants, which help to stimulate the senses of our residents receiving dementia care. Both gardens are wheelchair accessible – for all residents and visitors to enjoy.
Inside, you’ll find cosy lounges with comfy armchairs – this is where friendships are formed, good-natured laughter is had, and interests are shared over casual chatter. During mealtimes, we head to our large dining room space to enjoy delicious home-cooked food prepared by our on-site catering team – it’s a daily highlight.
We also have our own hairdressing salon, with a mobile hairdresser who visits us and other care homes in Milton Keynes and the wider Buckinghamshire area. Combined with the manicures and hand massages provided by our staff, this gives our residents the perfect opportunity to indulge in a spot of pampering.
What activities are available at our care home in Bletchley?
With two dedicated activities coordinators, who both have specialist dementia care training, we’ve always got something planned at Caton House.
From our knit and natter group to gardening and afternoon teas, social interaction is something our residents are never short of. We even have a choir, which is particularly helpful for our residents who live with dementia, as music therapy is wonderful for reminiscence.
The local schools in Bletchley also love to join us for intergenerational activities.
Just a short drive from Milton Keynes, on the Buckinghamshire border, there are lots of places to visit nearby too - from garden centres in Milton Keynes, Bletchley Park and a golf course right on our doorstep.

Nursing and palliative care at our care home in Bletchley
We have a team of highly trained nursing staff that deliver tailored care plans to meet our residents' increasing needs. Whether they require nursing care, palliative care or end of life care because of progressive disease, life-limiting or terminal illness or need convalescence following a spell in hospital, we are here round the clock.
It may be that you would like to support your family member with the transition to long-term residential care, or they need assistance with day-to-day tasks or simply companionship. They may have age-related conditions, including memory loss and dementia or are simply becoming frailer. You may be looking for a short-term break from caring in the form of adult respite care, with the peace of mind that your loved one is in safe hands. We are here.

Caton House pricing information
It is usual for residents in care homes to contribute to the cost of their own care. Some people have the resources to pay for this in full, whilst others make means-tested contributions.
Our weekly fees are individual to each of our residents and are subject to a pre-admission assessment, which is required to understand the level of care and support needed. Our 2024 weekly care fees for residential care start from £1,374 and for nursing care £1,636 but may be in the region of 30% more*. This depends on your care needs and the type of bedroom that is right for you, from our standard rooms through to our premium bedroom options.
*If you require more specialist care such as 1-2-1 support, your weekly fee could be higher.
